Life is 'not' beautiful....... amar

Life is ‘not’ beautiful Life is not living with the worldly charms that our parents provide us, it is in the way they are leading their lives by sacrificing their pleasures and keeping us happy. Life is not the new found Love of your life (in your youth); it is the commitment and sacrifices that come with it. Life is a bitter capsule of sufferings (of any kind – big or small) with the sugary coating of some happiness. Each moment God is giving life and taking away some, then what is beautiful in that? Some of us are busy with celebrations and some are mourning deaths. Some are enjoying a delicious supper while some are still striving for a morsel of food. Some are having a sound sleep; some are still dreading their sleepless past. Is life beautiful amidst all of this? If people enjoying the “better” moments are terming that life is beautiful for them then I think they need to rethink and redefine what life is. It is only moments that are good or bad, beautiful or ugly, enjoying or shameful; Life goes on with or without these moments. Nevertheless, one should always strive to lead a happy and successful life and to do so one has to take life as it comes, hope for better things, and try and achieve the best of them. One should enjoy all the better moments of life that can be made special. It is these moments that make your life enjoyable. If you wait for a bigger and happier moment, you may lose out on the numerous small enjoyable moments. We want all that is good in life. We want happiness. We want success. We want fame. Where do all the opposites go? They are gatecrashers in your lives and will barge in some way or the other. It is then that you may realize life is ‘not’ beautiful. How many of us try to achieve the beauty of life in finding one of its rarest commodities – peace of mind?!! Do we? We simply run after all the materialistic things, why not; of course these are also God given. And for how much time do these things last? Many of these don’t even last for an hour and we still say life is beautiful. Even Roberto Benigni’s award winning film ‘Life is Beautiful’, awarded at the 1998 Canes Film festival, talks about how one need to always keep hopes alive and lead the life as it comes because you have to make it beautiful that what not really is beautiful.
